Weird Wednesday!

During my reading of The Mothman Prophecies, I learned that author, John Keel, had discovered a correlation between Wednesday and the number of UFO sightings reported. According to Keel, this is the best day of the week to encounter strange aerial objects, with more sightings being reported on a Wednesday than any other day of the week.

Other researchers also noticed this peculiar trend and Keel reproduces a table detailing the results of research by Saunders, of the United States, Ballester-Orlando in Spain and Bonabot of Belgium. In all cases, there is an increase in the reported UFO sightings on a Wednesday.

Very strange. They do not attempt to offer an explanation for this oddity, but assuming the results are accurate, there does seem to be a connection.

So, all eyes upward next Wednesday then......?
